on sharks

In California Great White sharks live in the sea - sometimes they attack surfers - but not often - apparently surfers look a bit like turtles. We have researched this because we are scared of Great Whites - having been brought up on Jaws films (Kate not Ella).



We intend to try surfing anyway - there is a beach at the end of our road - Seabright - we hope there will be lots of bird life.

thoughts before America

i am going to america in 3 weeks i feel:

happy, sad, excited and weird

i am going to be there for 6 months.
