In California Great White sharks live in the sea - sometimes they attack surfers - but not often - apparently surfers look a bit like turtles. We have researched this because we are scared of Great Whites - having been brought up on Jaws films (Kate not Ella).
We intend to try surfing anyway - there is a beach at the end of our road - Seabright - we hope there will be lots of bird life.

The beach looks really nice. A lot warmer than the one here in Scotland, I bet. I wouldn't be too keen on sharks. Massive jelly fish are about as much as I can handle.
