Seabright Beach

Seabright beach is at the end of our road - it is very beautiful - you can see the mountains across the sea because it is a bay. We saw sandpipers, seagulls and pelicans this evening - just before the sun set - Ella drew a turtle in the sand and Jenny picked up a crab that the birds were eating - and then returned it.

your turtle is brilliant. it's not green beacuse it's made of sand! says Carlotta.
Today in East Dulwich it was snowing. we made a snowman. It was very cold.
Carlotta goes back to school tomorrow. When do you start Ella?

Is another difference that in america the sea runs up and down rather than from side to side as in this photo? Is it to do with the curvature of the earth?
