My school in Brighton is learning about the World War II and my class went on a trip to learn about evacuation.

In America we are learning about the gold rush and we are going on a camping trip to the Columbia river town

and will be panning for gold. We are also doing a play about the gold rush and i am one of the merchants in it. The play has 10 songs in it - my favourite is called We're Merchants!

Hope all is still going well. Your trip sounds good Ella - when do you go? The project about WWII and evacuation also sounds good. There's a good story book called Goodnight Mr Tom that's all about a boy who gets evacuated.
